Change Pictures
As i was looking through my pictures, i didn't like them. i believe they were good pictures in terms of them being clear and focused, but i don't believe that they matched my own vision for my gospel magazine. i needed to change my models and there clothing, to fit with the image i want for my magazine. Also have a variety of angles to make the magazine more interesting. I will take my pictures again and this time pay more attention to detail in order for my magazine to be a sucess

Music Magazine Analysis
Here is some analysis of music magazines, I'm just pointing out the features of the magazine and explaining why they are there whats there purpose. Also with this i can help this to know the basics of what i should add in my magazine.
Email- Permission to use instruments
I sent this email to my teacher who is head of the music department as apart of the planning aspect of this unit. I made sure i had the permission to use instruments before i started making decisions about taking pictures.

When and why did you start the
band?
We started the band in 2009 when we were all in year 9. It was
originally us two [Tashana+Ray] and
we were called TR2 but we didn’t really like performing we preferred to write the music, so we
decided we need to find somebody to be the face of out group
[Yasmin] Then I came along
[ALL] laugh
[Ray] We Met Yasmin at a gospel concert she
performed [Rapped] and after we exchanged numbers.
[Sheneka] we started practising, even over Skype, but our connection weren’t too great. So we met every
Wednesday and our flow was just immense.
[Yasmin] I always wanted to be apart of a group, I
weren’t really feeling being a solo artist and with the help of God he placed
me in this
group. By the then we changed our name to Trinity and the machines
How
would you describe your band genre?
We only rap and sing
gospel lyrics we have a kind of Rnb vibe.
We do have a few pop
song on our album….
This is coming out
January 2013!!
When I write the
lyrics I just get into my element that’s what I love to do, writing about God
and what he has done for me just make think about we all have come from.
What
was your life like before you broke out into the industry?
[Yasmin]Well i used to be a part of a gang
just doing badness and my life was very eventful but for all the wrong reasons.
I used to rep e7 now I rep the guy in heaven
Then I don’t know how but then I started
writing Christian lyrics.
I just used to party drink smoke weed and
cause trouble. I would come home so late every day just because I could. Some people would have called me a hood girl
and back then I thought it was such a good thing to be hood but I know it’s
pretty sad. I thought the way I could express myself was to
fight and be rude to people. Then I found music I was first writing lyrics for
the rap videos repping my area.
To cut the long story short
I realised i wasn’t about that life of sin and i found church and then I met
these lot...
What’s your next goal?
[Yasmin] well we have
made it big in England especially London now I think we want our music to go to
America see if we can take it to the USA.
[Ray] we were happy
when we heard our song on the radio for the first time and to hear them in
American would be AMAZING!
[Tashana] I’d also
like to get some awards maybe a few Brit awards. Something to put on the wall.
Were eager to make another album even though
the first one hasn’t come out yet I’m looking forward to starting writing some
more lyrics.

This is the article the double page spread. initially my double page spread was based on a group but because i changed my photography i had to change my article as well. the article is still about a group but mainly the leader of the group.

Psychographics
Psychographics is the
study of qualities, principles, attitudes, interests, and lifestyles.
Psychographic studies of individuals or communities can be valuable in the
fields of marketing.
The
type of person that would buy the magazine is the mainstream / succeeder type
of person, they are the people that think about other rather than themselves
also they are more likely to respond to family brands but also their self confident
and because a Gospel magazine or not as popular as pop- or rock magazines have
to be a bit more confident.
Uses and Gratifications
Uses and Gratifications Theory is a method to understanding why people actively look
for in specific media outlets and content for gratification purposes. The
theory discusses how users proactively search for media that will not only meet
a given need but also enhance awareness, public interactions and diversion.
It
assumes that members of the audience are not passive but take an active role in
interpreting and integrating media into their own lives.
I want
people to be able to learn some things form my magazine e.g. how to become an
artist. But I also want young teens that have jobs or study to have some time
to escape from things. Its something to take you minds off of things. They
could show their friends what there reading and introduce them to there genre.
This magazine is there to discover up and coming artists to celebrate the old
ones.
